World Food Prize

The World Food Prize Foundation’s prestigious Global Challenge is an opportunity to explore, analyze and propose solutions to some of the world’s most pressing food security, agriculture and sustainability challenges. This year’s participants from Bridgehampton were Emma Kapon, Summer Lillie, Avery McCleland and Sascha Gomberg. The students researched and presented solutions to the metal contamination in water in China, obesity in Southern Italy, depletion of the barrier reef in Belize and drought-resistant foods in Australia.
