Our elementary students took time to learn all about the important dates that occur in January at their PBIS assembly. The Communications Club presented the cultural and historical importance of Lunar New Year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Three Kings Day.
Students learned about the vibrant traditions of Three Kings Day, which marks the visit of the Magi to the baby Jesus, as well as the powerful legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and his impact on civil rights in America. They also explored the exciting customs of Lunar New Year, including the symbolism behind the festivities and the animals of the zodiac.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate and learn about diverse traditions that bring people together around the world!
