This weekend our upperclassmen embarked on an enriching college tour throughout Connecticut, exploring a diverse range of institutions that offer unique opportunities for higher education. Day one began at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, where students met with admissions counselors for a detailed information session. They then took a student-guided tour of the campus, offering them a firsthand look at the state-of-the-art facilities and vibrant campus life. The visit was capped off with a campus lunch, giving the students a genuine sense of what daily life might be like at Sacred Heart. 

Next, they visited the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, where they were introduced to the university’s extensive academic offerings, including top-tier programs in research, engineering and the arts. Along the way, they were fortunate to spot Jonathan the Husky, the university’s beloved mascot, further immersing them in the UConn experience. 

On day 2, the first stop was Quinnipiac University in Hamden, renowned for its comprehensive and hands-on approach to education. Students explored various academic disciplines, including engineering, business and media studies, and were impressed by the university’s interactive business and health science labs. Next, they visited Wesleyan University in Middletown. The tour concluded at Yale University in New Haven, where students were exposed to the university’s world-class academic programs, research opportunities and vibrant campus life, inspiring our students to think about the endless possibilities available at one of the most prestigious institutions in the world. 

Each year we’re grateful to offer our Bridgehampton students the opportunity to gain  valuable insights into university life as they begin to consider their future educational paths.
