What did you do on your extra day this year? Our elementary schoolers decided it’s the perfect day for some learning, leapfrog and, of course, dancing! After announcing their February Student of the Month winners, K-5 students heard from their Communications Club who spoke about how jampacked February is despite it being the shortest month of the year. There’s Boy Scouts of America Day, Bubblegum Day, Groundhog Day, National Black History Month, Presidents Day, Valentine’s Day, and, of course, today, Leap Day! We finished off the assembly with a Crazy Frog dance party. An extra day well spent! Thank you as always to our assembly coordinator, Hamra Ozsu!
