Getting Heart Healthy

This February at Bridgehampton School students grades eighth through 12th participated in the American Heart Association’s American Heart Challenge for Heart Health Month. Students who completed “Finn’s Mission” were taught hands-on CPR, the warning signs of a stroke and the dangers of vaping and tobacco use on your health.

Our upperclassmen were then paired up with elementary classes to teach them some heart-healthy activities like jumping rope, hula hoops, basketball drills, and exercises. Bringing together these students of all ages is always a gratifying experience for fostering true community.
