Bridgehampton students from second to fifth grade enjoyed ice skating at the Buckskill Winter Club in East Hampton, New York. Students can participate in months of January and February thanks to the generosity of Douglas and Katheryn DeGroot, who donated ice time, skates and helmets to the students. With help from physical education teacher Steve Meyers, students learn to ice skate during the winter months. Our school has been fortunate enough to receive this special donation for nearly 20 years. Bridgehampton, a community of giving, is proud to have alumni and community donations to make these extracurriculars free for students.
