Virtual Enterprise

Virtual Enterprise thumbnail262658

Virtual Enterprise class attended a leadership conference at Long Island University in Brookville. The event kicked off at 9 a.m. with a warm welcome from the creator of Virtual Enterprise and the Virtual Enterprise president, followed by a brief address from the president of Long Island University. Students were then inspired by a motivational talk from Chuck Garcia, also from Long Island University.

Afterward, students broke into groups based on their department titles – CEO, marketing, information technology, finance/accounting and human resources – and headed to separate breakout sessions. Each group learned about their respective department, then worked in smaller teams to solve a scenario and present their solution to the whole group.
VE provides connection, collaboration, and leadership development skills alongside other future entrepreneurs and we are so excited to give them opportunities to our students.
