On Thursday, Oct. 17, Ms. Martins and our sixth graders showcased their monthlong science fair projects. Each student developed a scientific question, formulated a hypothesis and dedicated the past four weeks to conducting experiments independently, gathering data and documenting their findings. Our students created both physical and digital displays to illustrate their experiments.
We invited our elementary and secondary students’ families and faculty members to explore their results. Our visitors got the chance to experience hands-on activities, such as experimenting with different types of slime, “elephant toothpastes” with changing ingredients and making candy “dance.”
Thanks to all who came to show support
