This week in honor of National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, Madame Chery's class celebrated the Haitian, Jamaican, Trinidadian, Dominican, and Guyanese cultures! Students studied facts about each of the countries, learned traditional dances, and wore colors to represent the flags of each country. Students with Caribbean heritage got a special shout-out during AM announcements as a special part of the celebration.
