The Bridgehampton School fifth and sixth grade students were lauded at a graduation ceremony for the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program facilitated by the Southampton Town Police Department. The effective program has taught students about important decision-making skills for safe and healthy lifestyles.

“We are so grateful to the Police Department and Officer Eugene LaFurno for his commitment and positive influence on our students over the years,” Principal Mike Miller said. “His efforts will certainly stay with them as they grow and understand how the options and choices they make can affect themselves and others.”
