An Education in Farming Practices thumbnail121064
As an end of the year special treat, students visited a property in Amagansett, locally known as Turtle Bluff Farm. Under the guidance of the property’s groundskeeper, Mr. Tom Edwards, they had an opportunity to feed goats, taste vegetables from the garden, and explore and spot frogs and turtles in the property’s pond. They met rabbits, chickens, pheasants, peacocks, a pig and more.
