Students in the Introduction to Environmental Science class, under the
leadership of science teacher Ms. Natalia Nichols, designed and built an
aquaponics system that will be on permanent display at The South Fork
Natural History Museum and Nature Center in Bridgehampton. The district
collaborated with SoFo on a grant that funded the project. Thank you to
the students and Ms. Nichols for all the work that was put into this
unique system that combines conventional aquaculture with hydroponics.
It will be something visitors to SoFo will enjoy learning about.
