Bridgehampton Families,

I hope all is well. As we enter the third day of school being closed, I would like to provide you with a few reminders while the buildings remain closed for students, through March 31, 2020.

1. This afternoon, the administrative team participated on a call with Suffolk County superintendents and county government officials. It was shared that a mobile testing site has been set up at Stony Brook University. This testing site is available by appointment only. A call center has also been established. You can dial 1-888-364-3065 to speak with a healthcare professional with questions you may have regarding the COVID-19 virus. In addition, you can also text COVIDSUFFOLK to 67283 to receive text message updates as it relates to the virus in Suffolk County.

2. As of today, we still do not have any updated information from the State to share regarding the 2019/20 school calendar.

3. Altice is offering free internet options to all families during this time. Please see the link for more information: https://www.alticeusa.com/news/articles/feature/corporate/altice-usa-brings-free-broadband-k-12-and-college-students-during-coronavirus-pandemic

4. “How to keep your kid on a schedule during Coronavirus school closings” "New York Post Article"

5. Mr. Miller Reads “Good Night Farm”, by Adam Gamble.
Good Night Farm highlights corn, wheat, cotton, apples, peaches, pumpkin farms, and animals such as horses, cows, goats, sheep, geese, ducks, and chickens. Tractors, barns, and sheep shearing are also featured. Within the pages of this educational board book, children will spend a day on the farm while they learn about how a farm works. Don't forget your overalls! https://youtu.be/c6s7bb2rA2c

Thank you for all of your continued support as we work together through this unprecedented time. I again ask that you ensure contact information we have for your family is up to date in the parent portal, to confirm you receive all future correspondences. Have a great night.
