Students in Mr. Henry Meyer’s social studies classes have been busy this
month with some fun and engaging projects. Students conducted a mock
primary and caucus in seventh grade social studies to learn more about
the ongoing process. The eighth and 11th grade American History classes
participated in a mock stock market game. Students had a fixed amount of
money to buy stocks for companies that they liked and researched. They
then waited a month to see how their investments turned out. Eighth
grader George Caguana won with a strong investment in Tesla, and junior
Nicholas Saunders won with a mix of investments in Amazon, Google and
Tesla.
